Sandra Palavecino, MD obtained her medical degree at the Central University of Venezuela and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut in 2012. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and has practiced in Sussex County for several years. She has additional expertise in bariatric medicine and diet counseling.
Dr. Palavecino is a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association, the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. Dr.
Palavecino has been part of TidalHealth Medical Weight Loss and Bariatric Nutrition since 2015 and the Director of the medical weight loss program since Spring 2016.
